About me
My name is Heather Pullinger and I lead the small team at Antenatal Circle, and I will be your main contact throughout your classes.
I’m an experienced NHS midwife who has been working for more than ten years in the community in the south of Edinburgh. I have had the pleasure of looking after many women in the area with each of their babies over this time, frequently attending home births and providing both antenatal and post-natal care.
Although it is easier than ever to access information it can be hard not to become overwhelmed and to know what is trustworthy, I will help you make sense of the wealth of information and learn what is important.
I am passionate about community midwifery, and I have an MSc in Advanced Midwifery Practice with a particular interest in maternal mental health. Good quality antenatal education is so important, and I would hope these classes go some way to helping you feel empowered to make the right choices for you and your baby.
